Day 1: USA – Rio de Janeiro
You're off to Brazil for the adventure of a lifetime.

Day 2
Arrival at Rio de Janeiro Airport and private transfer to Hotel. Afternoon is free to stroll the boardwalk in front of Copacabana Beach and enjoy a snack sitting at a sidewalk café.

Day 3
Breakfast served in the hotel dining room. This morning you'll depart on youf full-day tour of Rio de Janeiro including Sugarloaf Mountain in the morning, and Corcovado Mountain in the afternoon. Through the Aterro do Flamengo, you will be taken to the neighborhood of Urca to the base of Sugar Loaf Mountain. You’ll travel all the way to the top in two steps by cable car, and enjoy splendid views of Guanabara Bay and its islands, the Rio-Niterói Bridge, Corcovado Mountain, Copacabana beach, the Santa Cruz fortress and several beaches of Niterói.

After the morning tour, relax and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, go by the Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas on your way to reach the Cosme Velho Train cog station at the bottom of Corcovado Mountain to take the ride up to the top (2,300ft), where the Christ Redeemer Statue is perched overlooking Rio. From the top, enjoy the spectacular views of Rio and the surrounding countryside.

Day 4
Breakfast served in the hotel dining room. Today, optional sightseeing includes a schooner cruise to the Tropical Islands. Board a typical Brazilian schooner in the morning and cruise the clear waters among the hundreds of islands south of Rio, stopping for swimming and lunch. Musicians onboard will entertain you, playing Brazil's native bossa nova and samba. Or, take the optional tour to Imperial Petropolis, once the residence of Brazil's royal family. On display are rare Imperial artifacts including the crown jewels of Emperor Dom João II. Or you may want to visit a favela by Jeep Tour. This evening take the optional Plataforma 1 tour. You'll start with dinner at a Churrascaria barbecue restaurant, and then enjoy the Carnival/Samba music and dance show at Plataforma I.

Day 5: Rio de Janeiro – USA
Breakfast served in the hotel dining room. Last day in Rio to enjoy relaxing at your leisure. Evening transfer to the airport for your return flight to the USA.
